In today’s comic you would have witnessed how Aiden finally succeeds in getting into the cab of the truck and talking to his father on the CB radio. You would have been privy to the thought provoking and deeply touching scene where Aiden and Frank finally speak truthfully to one another. Likewise, Frank would finally express his deep love and pride in his son.
In today’s comic you would have heard the conversation where Frank informs our heroes that an insane Army colonel is using artillery to destroy the Tacoma and Fort Lewis area. Frank would tell our heroic trio that they must avoid trying to rescue him since the entire area surrounding him is bombed out and swarming with infected and violent people. Frank makes both Dick and Aiden promise to stay together in an attempt to keep the two people he loves the most safe. Frank advises that Dick, Aiden, and Pete try to make their way to SEATAC Airport. The remainder of the organized military is there, using helicopters to move refugees to McChord Airforce Base, which is still secure.
Before either Dick or Aiden can respond, the radio goes dead…
